Amazon Deals

Skip down to part two if you’re an amazon shopper but you aren’t buying toys for family, friends, or Toys for Tots.

Amazon has a lot of toys marked down right now with free shipping on orders of $25 or more, plus they have a promotion right now where you can get this GUND bear (12″ tall) for free with qualifying toy purchases of $60 or more:

Add the bear to the cart AFTER adding the toys, and when you get to the last confirmation page during checkout it will show a discount of $29.99 in the final total.

Here are some toys that are marked down (some a lot, some not much), qualify for free shipping, and count towards the $60 for the free bear [I found most of these through slickdeals]:

As you probably know, there don’t seem to be any cashback sites that will give you money back on Amazon purchases right now.  But I did find one that will give 2% cashback to the charity of your choice: transactions are tracked according to the cause that benefits fromthe purchase, rather than the iGive member who made the purchase. These earnings WILL benefit your cause, but they will NOT appear in your personal shopping reportsor your personal fundraising totals. If you choose to receive a rebate check ratherthan donating your iGive earnings to a cause, please note that you will NOT earnrebate funds by shopping at Amazon through iGive. Also, because we are unable to tiethese transactions to any specific iGive shopper, Amazon purchases will NOT counttowards any first-time buyer bonus donations.

If you’re having trouble picking a charity, might I suggest the Orphan Foundation of America?
