Ask your doctor about Expensivex

by Caleb Reading

I read in a pharmaceutical trade magazine lately (Drug Topics, Aug. 2004 supplement), that roughly 1 in 3 patients ask for a specific drug by name, and a full 73% of physicians write a script for the requested drug. Where do you think the patient learns the name of the drug? Usually advertisements.

Pharmaceutical companies will quit throwing billions towards advertising when it’s no longer so darn profitible to do so.
