Oh, she’s a winner
Last week I saw this:
MARCH 12–A Utah woman who refused a Caesarean section that doctors believed would have saved the life of one of her unborn twins was charged with murder yesterday. Melissa Ann Rowland, 28, was named in the below criminal information filed in District Court by Salt Lake City prosecutors. Investigators contend that Rowland exhibited “depraved indifference to human life” when she rejected the Caesarean in mid-January because she did not want to be scarred by the surgery. Rowland, according to one nurse who spoke with police, said she would rather “lose one of the babies than be cut like that.”
Then today I find this:
The woman charged with killing one of her twins by refusing a Caesarean section was convicted of child endangerment in Pittsburgh nearly four years ago, a newspaper reported Saturday.
The 2000 conviction of Melissa Rowland stemmed from a supermarket incident in which she punched her daughter several times in the face after the toddler picked up a candy bar and began eating it, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported. Witnesses said Rowland screamed, “You ate the candy bar and now I can’t buy my cigarettes.”
You have to pass a test to drive a car, yet this deplorable waste of mottled skin can keep having/killing all the babies she wants. Disgusting.
